IMPAK builds its equipment with three choices of control systems all our customers should know.
IS2 (Intelligent Sealing System)
The IS2 Intelligent Sealing System was introduced in 2016 using a Siemens-based control system. Since then, it has been continuously improved and upgraded with features like the ability to troubleshoot issues remotely (with purchase of the Remote Communications Module) when authorized by the end user. The Siemens platform provides a robust framework to build modifications and upgrades upon. This system is a high quality platform recognized worldwide for it's reliability and accuracy.
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation
Allen-Bradley is a global leader in control systems - you might recognize the name as an itegral part of many top-tier manufacturers. We have even run across some companies who mandate it's use across manufacturing plants. To meet that requirement, IMPAK has been reliably installing Allen-Bradley control systems into a wide range of units since 2021. Unitronics PLC/HMI
This PLC/HMI has been a key part of the Gramatech Heat & Vacuum Sealers Control platform since 2010 - making it a 14+ year old system. Modifying the program settings can take more time and effort without a more robust control system, but these controllers are readily available - with thousands of our sealers featuring this system already out in the marketplace worldwide.
